This is ME!

Cheese!

I’m often told that I’m crazy, and i’ve now come to terms with this. I think I’m awesome! So, what do I write here? We could go way, way back to the days of collecting rocks, climbing trees, playing in cardboard boxes, and making slip-n-slides out of plastic tarps in the beautiful city of Detroit. But that’s a little too far back, and I don’t think my memory is as good as it used to be. High school is a good place to start, I suppose. I was EXTREMELY cool back in high school. Ok, that’s a lie. Well, not a total lie, I had lots of friends and did lots of stuff…basically, high school was an awesome time, but I would never go back. I had thought about not going away to college and trying out for shows and doing the whole “dance” thing (from the persuasion of one of my dance teachers) but I knew I wasn’t good enough to make it, and I wanted to go away to school and get out of southeast Michigan!

Goodbye Detroit, hello Lansing. What a wonderful transition (dripping with sarcasm). Whatever, I loved Michigan State! But after one year I transfered to UofM down in Ann Arbor to give architecture a try. A year after that, I realized that I hated being a wolverine, and that my blood ran green. It was so nice to spend my last three years of college back up at State, with wonderful friends and the smell cows and the red cedar river tainting the air! And let’s not forget our amazing basketball team, and (almost) amazing football team! GO GREEN! I also studied for a summer in Rome, fell in love with Italy, and got to travel all over Europe! It was an amazing experience! Oh yeah, and I waitressed at Big Boy for three years in Okemos. I think I would have made a great lifer there at the good ol’ Big Boy, waitressing for the rest of my life and crying everytime one of my favorite regulars passed on, since they were all about 135 years old. But no, graduation finally came, and I had to find some other way to fill my time.

Goodbye Michigan, hello Georgia. I moved from the 2nd most dangerous city in the US to the 7th, I’m good! (The stat’s are something like that, don’t quote me on them. In fact, don’t quote me on anything I say on here!) With some persuading from a miss Jennifer Andrea Truskowski, I jumped on the circus bandwagon, and now have a ball designing things and manuevering my way around Atlanta.

So that’s me…..24 years in three paragraphs. And that’s all you need to know.

Oh yeah, and I love Jesus with all my heart! :)
